The Moorings base at Placencia Belize - This time June/July 2008. The First time Roberta saw the Weltevreden. The crew was just Dennis & Roberta. The Lobsterfest, sort of like a county fair in the States, celebrates the opening of the lobster season in Belize. Roberta was in 'critter food' heaven. I was looking for a steak. Our friends at the Moorings mounted mighty efforts at the various Lobsterfest competitions. On this cruise, our first as man & wife, we found our way to a small caye on the edge of the barrier reef called Southwater. It will be here one year later we had what will probably be, in the end, one of the major adventures of our lives [link]. For now, however, it was a nice place to be.

Lobsterfest 2 - Who the Cap Fits
